Knurling the bead seat:

To prevent the tire from rotating on the rim, the contact surface can be provided with longitudinal grooves. Such knurl supports the tire and prevents it from distorting on the rim.

Bevelling the hump profile:

Some motorsport tires are provided with an especially narrow and stiff chafer strip. These tires will jump over the hump in the presence of a very high mounting pressure only. This already may lead to damage. The hump circumference is brought to the lower tolerance limit in accordance with the ETRTO standard and optimised for a tire-protecting mounting.

Weight optimisation:

Depending on the rim model and area of use, our rims can be weight-optimised. This ranges from the “removal of unnecessary trim parts“ through the „insertion of weight reduction pockets“ up to the use of special materials such as titanium.

Working the mounting pockets:

For quick and easy wheel mounting, it can be of advantage to optimise the mounting pockets to the dimensions of the mounting socket. We make your rims with mounting pockets the diameters of which range between 21mm and 32mm at maximum. The cone may vary in height as well (LG). Hence, the nut is tightened more quickly.

Powder coating:

For use in motorsports, an especially resistant powder coating is recommended. We offer such coating in white and black.
